Weston Park Post Office - let's get it re-opened

Weston Park in focus - Anette has posted this about the fly tipping - and I have just received this from the Lib Dems

Dear Adrian,
 

Do you remember the local Post Office on Weston Park?

 

It was a well used part of our community - but the Labour government closed it back in 2008.

 

Local Liberal Democrat councillors have spoken to the shopkeeper, who would like to re-open the Post Office. Our local MP, Lynne Featherstone, has backed the plans too and has written to the Post Office to support the shopkeeper's proposal.

Yes, brilliant, I've been meaning to post about this, as the lovely chap who owns the newsagents / old post office is not exactly campaigning himself. I'll pop by and ask him to put something up in his window. I am sure everyone around here will support him.
