Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
Following consultation with the local community and working closely with the Friends of Stationers Park; the design for the new playground has been finalised.
Fundraising in ongoing to realise the entire design, a copy of which is attached to this post.
Phase 1 will be the demolition of the existing fort in early May 2011 (following the Easter break)
Subsequent to this will be Phase 2: the installation of part of the design which we (Groundwork London) have so far raised funds for. This includes: the main fort structure, refurbishing the large rotating disc, a new hexagonal swing and a basket swing. This phase is highlighted on the diagram in pink.
This work is planned to start in late June. Additional equipment will be added this phase with any new funds raised. All equipment surrounding the pink areas constitutes Phase 3.
Working with the Friends of Stationers Park, we continue to fundraise for Phase 3. If you have any ideas for this or can spare some time to help, the group would love to hear from you.

Local Dad, Stefan Hohmann is running the London Marathon THIS SUNDAY - all sponsorship goes to the Stationers Playground. YOU can help increase the equipment installed in the Phase 2 of the build by sponsoring him. Donating is quick and easy with no amount too small - every little bit helps and the only ones to benefit are the children and residents surrounding Stationers Park.
