Sainsbury's / St. James / Hornsey High Street development

The Hornsey Depot development is up for discussion again , this time with its own dedicated Hornsey Depot website and a firm of consultants called Soundings. The webiste has a picture with some rather tatty daffs and a few green spots (see below).

The Baths on the site are subject to conservation and have featured here before as a potential public interest project and as part of a conservation area.

Probably the big issues will be around the positive/negative impacts of a huge Sainsbury's on a small high street, and of the infrastructure needed to support the occupants of the many new homes.
