Chris Freeman, recently the winner of a lifetime award for services to baking, is concerned that copyright enforcement will prevent bakers gaining a benefit from the 2012 games in London, according to this article on the website of the British Baker Magazine.

“The Olympics should be an opportunity that we can all take advantage of, but I’m struggling to come up with ideas for products,” he said. “Hopefully some of the large sugarcraft suppliers will produce plaques under licence that carry the Olympic logos.”   

Obviously bakers would like to produce cakes with the Olympic logo, but apparently they won;t be allowed to.
