Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
I just saw a post on another website about Irvin Bar Grill, a new 46 cover Italian/Modern European restaurant opening in Crouch End in March 2015.
I wonder where it'll be located? Does anyone have further information about this?

Irvin Bar Grill is a new 46 cover restaurant opening March 2015 in Crouch End, North London. Our offering is based on outstanding simple food, great presentation, creativity and attention to detail in a warm, buzzy and relaxed environment. We will be serving excellent Italian wine, Scotch whisky and cured meats from the bar and a menu of colourful, fresh and exciting cicchetti style small plates from the kitchen & grill.
We are looking for a committed, creative and personable Head Chef to run the small but well equipped kitchen in this new venture.
Our Chef will, alongside the owner, develop the menu of classic, seasonal &
innovative small plates using fresh/cured meat, fish and cheese from small Scottish
estates and Italian suppliers and fresh seasonal vegetables.
A genuine passion for food & the desire & experience to create excellent Italian cuisine with new flavour and presentation twists is a must.

£19.00 for steak? ouch. And i can take (sic) it that a discretionary (12.5 to 15pc ) service will be added...
£21.38/21.85 for a steak? a bit steep non? #onlyasking
That's what Steakhouses in London (Hawkesmoor and Goucho for example) would charge, however these restaurants are trendy and the type of places where you pay for the atmosphere as well as the food! So, these prices might be a little steep for Crouch End. That said, I think the seafood is very reasonably priced and I'm definitely excited for this restaurant to open.
