Green Peas Events are looking for Event Assistant volunteers for our fabulous ART PICNICS 4 KIDS events in North London. If you are interested in gaining experience in creative work with children and event organising and have DBS check (former CRB) this opportunity is for you!

Art Picnics 4 Kids events will take place in Crouch End , Priory Park on

Saturday : 27th July, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th August

Wednesday: 31st July, 7th, 14th, 21st August

and in Waterlow Park, Highgate on

Tuesday: 30th July, 8th, 13th, 20th August

Times: 9.30-2.30pm

The events are parent and child drop in,  free flow art sessions. The typical event includes:  Painting Zone ( 8 painting boards) with brushes, rollers, syringes to squirt the paint. Tactile Play Zone; oats/flour play ect, playdough and grains scooping. Crafts Zone usually involves 2-3 crafts workshops, and is aimed at 4+ children. Events Assistants will be responsible for set up of the event, stewarding and customer service during the event ( help with creative activities/responding to queries) and clear up after the event.

Typical duties include; set up of crafts stations and painting/messy play zones, top up of materials during the event, help children with creative activities, responding to queries, clear up of site after the event. DBS (CRB) check is essential as well as good command of English.

The events are lively, fast paced and full of fun! If you want to learn about event organising and love children and art, get in touch!!
