Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information

On June 15, we will be saying farewell to Hornsey Town Hall with a celebration of all things Crouch End.

'Crouch End Chronicles', which mixes readings, live music and raucous anecdotes, digs into local history and the characters who have helped shape it: from Edward VII to Matt Monro, Joan Rhodes (Britain's Strongest Woman), Bob Dylan, Bridget Hitler and the Suffragettes. There will also be readings from Linda Grant and Arnold Bennett.

To add to the occasion, Blacktooth Productions will be celebrating its 13th birthday, with highlights from some of its most popular performances. Subjects range from Great Eccentrics and the Summer of Love to Bohemian Soho, Seaside Capers and Animal Magic.

Tickets £10. Further details via:

Not that I can afford to go. I'm saving for the England games.

Thanks very much, Mark. I've changed it. You can't get the staff etc etc
