CPZ Implementation time table from one of Crouch End's ward councillors

Dear Mr Essex,

You are probably aware that the Council held a Consultation feedback
session in the Library on 12th November. Officers confirmed that the
proposals to extend the Crouch End Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ) A and B
will be recommended to the Cabinet.

Since then, a few milestones have emerged:

Cabinet decision will be taken on 21st December.

Final decisions about road marking and associated street furniture for
Topsfield Parade; Sandringham Gdns; Broughton Gardens, Bryanston Road
and bottom of Crouch Hall Road will have been made by mid-January. In
the New Year, an officer will be talking to residents in these roads who
have raised specific issues.

The Council will write to all residents in the area in February '11. The
scheme's final layout will appear on the Council website and
suggestions for minor amendments can still be made.

The scheme is likely to go live in April '11.

The top part of Shepherds Hill (from the roundabout to the Library) is
not included in the Crouch End CPZ scheme. However, some residents are
looking to join the Inner or Outer Highgate CPZ Schemes. It would be
helpful if residents in Shepherds Close and the top part of Shepherds
Hill would drop me a line after implementation of the Crouch End Scheme
to let me know your position on CPZs.

For any technical queries, Vincent Valerio, Project Engineer, Transport
and Policy Projects, can be contacted on 020 8489 1325. He will not be
contactable until after his holiday. He is due back on 7th January '11.

I hope the above is helpful. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Cllr Lyn Weber
Crouch End Ward Councillor (Lib Dem)
