To promote the Crouch End Festival and raise a little bit of money for it, Stroud Green Women’s Institute  will be hosting a community Cake Sale at the Stall For All outside Budgens on Crouch End Broadway. The Crochet Crouch End festival yarn bombers will also be there, as will festival flyer distributors. So come along and buy some cake, crochet a granny square or grab a flyer, to show your support for this great community-led event!

With Brigit Strawbridge! On the rooftop of Thorton’s Budgens Crouch End, Brigit will be talking to us about bees and other urban pollinators, how to identify them and their habitats, and we’ll also learn how to create a wild urban flower meadow.

Brigit is a writer, campaigner and leading voice on the importance of biodiversity. Her workshops are inspiring, informative and very popular!

Transition Crouch End Fruity Fable Trail Come follow the Transition Crouch End trail and discover tall tales and incredible edible treasure in our community. Identify fables as well as hearing & sharing some of our own. Find the juciness that makes Crouch End a creative community as artists, singers, storytellers & growers collaborate for celebration and resilience in this urban transition village with Sculptures, edible plants, gardens, skillshares, and stories.Meet at 'Knowing thru Growing' (Stroud Green & Haringay Library) at noon for storytime, garden tour and then we move on following the fruity fable trail to end up at a community orchard for a 'Meadow Mad Hatters' Transition tea party, at 4pm. All ages welcome!!
