Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
Spring is finally in the air - it's time to get out into your local parks again to get healthy and active in the sunshine.
There will be lots of nature activities to bring out your wild side and sports to get you active again, plus food, music, tree climbing, crazy bikes, bouncy castle, face painters, gardening classes. Fun for all the family.
The project Urban Wild Places project will also be launched at Caxton House Community Centre with a screening on the film Project Wild Thing at 1.30pm with free popcorn.
The Urban Wild Places project is funded by Big Lottery and works closely with Islington community centres creating unique ‘living learning spaces’, getting families to devise their own nature walks, supporting community growing gardens and ‘The Pod’, which gives 12 young people an opportunity to create and run their own community-based projects.
