Come along and hear Colin Ward, local artist from Turnpike Lane, for his gallery talk with Deborah Hedgecock (Curator, Bruce Castle Museum). Looking at the exhibition ‘Cornelius McCarthy and Friends’ Colin (at 94 years old) looks back on well over 70 years of his life creating paintings, his love of art, his campaigning and politics, and the wonderful friendships he has made along the way.
This talk accompanies the current exhibition 'Cornelius McCarthy and Friends’ in the Compton Gallery, which includes Colin's work.
The gallery talk will be the last opportunity to see the exhibition
