Event Description

Our  World War One walks launch on Sunday 8 June, but we are fully booked. There are more dates on 21 June, 20 July and 9 and 10 August. Learn about the impact of the Home Front on Crouch End. Visit the beautiful war memorial, and find out how the first Zeppelin was spotted over Hornsey, and understand how conscientious objectors were treated by the local tribunals. £7 a walk, led by badged guides Oonagh and Paul, trained at the University of Westminster. £3 tea afterwards at Earl Haig hall. email crouchendwalks@btinternet.com or phone 07539399549
