As a fabulous welcome to Kirsty at The George Orwell, Kevin and his merry crew are throwing a Christmas Pop themed debut on Saturday the 26th of November. Expect fights over who gets to sing "All i want for Christmas is you", "Fairytale of New York" etc. Thats right .. as well as the Christmas hits, all the usual 80's 90's ones will also be available. It's going to be a BUMPER night of hits for the launch of this talented lady coming to the North/East london divide to delight your ears and tickle your vocal chords.
Then from January we will host the night once a month singalong (tbc) so watch this space. Here's a little more info on the night....
Kirsty takes over our warm and cosy leather seated pub and performs all your favourite pop tunes from the '60s to the present day (including loads of '80s and Christmas pop songs) while the audience sings along... Kirsty takes requests and can play almost anything you want to hear or sing. Give her a bit of notice and she'll bring the lyrics along too. There's also a special guest microphone where you can croon a tune, or rock out on the stage, live karaoke-style! from 8pm 'til 11pm.
THEN.... (as if that wasn't enough)......
Kevin (aka Farah dj) spins tunes to keep the party going til 2am.... YES 2AM!!!! That's the twist! Tell your friends! It's the most fun you can possibly have on a Saturday night.
