After you have seen an image over,and over again,it takes on a diffrent meaning!!! This perticular piece was rendered with pencil,charcoal,and sepia. It is merley a worked out sketch. You probably find it dark,because of the properties, i.e.medium used. It has nothing dark except its tonal qualities. Anyway i am not trying to capture a chocolate box image. If i had used colour this might have taken on board,a completly differant meaning,and atmosphere. It is also not meant as photographic copy,but purely an exercise???
