Ally Pally Farmers Market re-opens today at Hornsey

This Sunday the market will be held at Campsbourne School 10am - 3pm. NHS staff and vulnerable people will have priority between 10am-11am. Strict social distancing will be in place. We recommend only one person per household visits to allow faster access for others too.See More

Spring Litter Clear in Alexandra Park at Alexandra Park

The Park Contractors, John O'Conner, do a great job keeping on top of the litter. We try to clean up those difficult to access places. Meet at the Gas Hut (by the Bedford Road entrance) where you will be issued with a litter picker. In just a short time we should make a significant difference to the Park.See More

Trees and avenues: an autumnal look at formal planting in Alexandra Park.Adrian will lead the group beside the Pavilion car park to the avenue of planes by GoApe, then look at the lines of limes leading to the deer enclosure exit, before returning through the horse chestnuts that lead up to the Rose Garden. History Walk at Alexandra Park

For those who know nothing of Alexandra Park's history, and for those who know a little but would like to know more... Join Gordon for a whistle-stop tour of the Park and its history - from balloons to bandstands, cows to Cody, and switchback to swimming pool. The Park has it all - huge crowds, spectacles, sports and fires - lots of fires. Meet at 7pm outside CUFOS the former ticket office for the station, at the top of the Avenue, N10 2QE.
