Making bug habitats at Railway Fields at Railway Fields Nature Reserve

Join the Friends of Railway Fields for our monthly conservation session. This time we'll be making minibeast habitats for visiting school groups to explore. Practical session from 10.00-12.30. Wear weather-appropriate outdoor clothes/shoes and we'll provide tools and gloves, tea and biscuits. Bring lunch if you'd like to stay for our monthly meeting (1.00-2.00) at which you can share your views and help plan events and activities. No need to book - just come along to the cabin on the day.See More

Good times at Railway Fields

We put on a Bees and Butterflies-themed Open Day at Railway Fields Nature Reserve today. The sun shone, beautiful butterflies flew, the bees were in top form, people went on nature tours and bug safaris, children met the Pond inhabitants, we had a treasure hunt/quiz etc If you were there do tell us how it was for you and any suggestions. .See More
