Ruminate
1. (of ruminants) to chew (the cud)
2. to meditate or ponder, Latin ruminare to chew the cud
We are not trying to suggest that you you are a large bovine, with
multiple stomachs and large grinding teeth designed to get the
cellulose out of grass. Rather that you are thoughtful, given to
reflecting on the state of the world, and capable of expressing
with great insight the results of your cogitations. When you are
struck with such a thought, on a topic which is perhaps wide
ranging and persistent, like the Comprehensive Spending Review,
Nuclear Disarmament or Global Warming why not have a
blog. For more
local, short lived topics (have you noticed . . ., CPZ, other
parking problems, fly tipping, what has Haringey done now, etc.)
then start a
discussion.
