The answer to this is indeed the Spirit of Electricity, the bringer
of heat and power, carved in brick on the wall of the old
electricity showrooms in Crouch End's town hall square, above the
door of the (perhaps to be relocated) Haringey Hornsey
Customer Service Centre on your left as you look at the
Town Hall.
The Gas and Electricity showrooms were built shortly after the Town Hall using the same architect (Reg Uren) who designed the Town Hall and the same sculptor (A.J.Ayers) who provided the carved stonework all round the square.
