Under Repair
I took my camera for a walk round Crouch End the other day and picked out some of the premises that are, or have recently been refitted. I picked out 12 shops, restaurants and pubs. There is of course, our old favourite, Middeys , apparently a never ending story, but my personal new favourite is TQL bathrooms, which has a truly eye catching display. And 10 others.
And for those of us whose intellects could benefit from a bit of TLC there is U3A
There is to be a demo.
Local character Chris Setz, is organising a march, very well behaved, from the Earl Haig to Hornsey Town Hall, in protest against the planned Town Hall changes. Do support him if you can. This Saturday, 23rd September, 3 pm.

Is still on our agenda for a while. The planning application consultation closes on 27th September, so there will be a lull (probably) between then and the announcement of a date for the planning sub-committee.
In the meantime, you are urged to make comments on the application, for or against.
The Neighbourhood Forum has produced a guide to some of the things we might like to comment on. The number of comments has gone up a lot in the past week so there is a bandwagon to jump on.
I've been trying to follow the 'use your own words' advice on a couple of topics.
This objection has a lot of colourful images.
And there is a rumour that a local lad has got the Arts Operator gig
