20121019 - Woodman spare that tree - but not that premises licence

Welcome to the new members who have joined recently - do invite your neighbours to join up too. Or, have you forgotten your OpinioN8 password - go to this page to request a reminder using the email address where you received this, and share your news and views.

Much of the recent discussion has been about the Earl Haig Memorial Hall - it now has a premises licence - i.e. it might become a pub. In the meantime some locals are already using it as a watering hole. There is something of a mood to get the hall listed as a community asset, an idea the lib dems floated some time ago and which has now resurfaced with particular respect to the Earl Haig

On another property front Jon is experimenting with DIY house sales, a very practical approach to any question marks there may be about estate agents - we wish him luck. And Chloe is trying OpinioN8 as a letting agency - fingers crossed for her too.

Back to licensing and this is your chance to make representations about BG max - act before 30th October.

Hurray - Haringey has another new Chief Executive - to any young jobseekers - her's a merry-go-round you should try to get on.

LBH is planning to axe (and replace) a large number of trees - but I have had no reply either by phone or by email to find out the criteria

And the sorting office is on the move.

Our events page has steam form compost and from old railways and much more.
