So here's one I saw on Facebook thanks to Fiona. A 3D Zebra Crossing. Motorists will only be fooled the first time they see it , but ever after will be reminded of the attention being paid to road safety, but it ties in nicely with the several suggestions in the Liveable Map survey for street art.

So for Liveable Crouch End we might expect our local councillors to be actively and fully in support of the 'modal shift' to walking and cycling and away from cars. I am eagerly looking forward to imaginative and original ideas arising from the Co-design workshops the consultants will be holding
There are of course one or two things to look out for - Tammy's tweet announcing the motion continues "We are asking parents and kids to join us in a protest beforehand outside the civic centre". Now it's not at all clear to me why there is a protest against LBH - perhaps this is just political positioning.
And if there is a borough wide scheme then we might hope that this would mean more funds to implement such schemes in Crouch End, whilst at the same time fearing that it may mean a reduction in matched funding in the byzantine world of local authority accounting. …
