I am holding the following Big Draw event in the Original Gallery, Hornsey Library, on Saturday 1st October 2011.

Drawing activities and moving image screening. If anyone would like to get involved and help out, do get in touch.

Apparently this might be part of a bigger event . Quentin Blake will be at the London Canal Museum on Sept 25th.

The London Canal Museum will be teaming up with Quentin Blake on Sunday 25 September to launch a day of craft activities including the start of the world’s largest drawing festival.

At midday Quentin Blake, best known for illustrating the characters in Roald Dahl's classic books, will be transported across Battlebridge Basin on the Regent’s Canal by the tugboat Bantam IV. He will then cut a ribbon heralding the start of the Big Draw's Big Splash, a day of activities taking place in Kings Place, Kings Cross.
