Dear Friends,

It's been a while since our last newsletter as we've been busy doing all we can to get the doors ready to open. It's been an adventure.

We started building work 8 months ago in June 2013 and have been told this is record time to completely renovate a historic building into a modern 2 level live space with screen, a dedicated state of the art cinema and a cafe/bar with mezzanine level. It's looking amazing.

The great news is our projectors are being delivered on Feb 28th and so we expect to be ready to screen our first movies about a week to 10 days later!! As soon as we have a specific opening day we will let you know what our launch programme will be. Everyone who has signed up for our membership will be invited in to some free special preview screenings to help us make sure everything is running smoothly before the public are invited in, so we will be in touch. For those that haven't joined our membership yet, there is still time if you would like to benefit from our offers.

As you may have already seen or heard the beautiful ArtHouse Deli is open for business! Located along the road from the ArtHouse, the ArtHouse Deli at 46 Topsfield Parade N8 has already made a splash in the regeneration of this side of Crouch End. So if you have not already, make sure you pop in to have a look at all the delicious cheese, meats and other products from Crouch End, Tottenham and Islington.
Arthouse Deli will be offering a take-away selection very soon too!

Recent Changes.

Due to commercial factors unforeseen by either party, ArtHouse and Curzon have decided an amicable separation would be best for both.

ArtHouse want to provide locals with a dynamic and versatile programme of films and live productions and feel our independence and flexibility is vital in such. Rest assured we will still be providing the best in art house, independent and mainstream films.

We would also like to make clear that all our staff will be on contracted hours (no zero hour contracts) and all our staff will be paid above the minimum wage.

We strive to support our local community and will do all we can to make the ArtHouse a fair and fulfilling place to both work and play in.

The ArtHouse Team.

Great news ArtHouse! So good to hear the projectors are coming. That must be a big step forward in the project. We are so looking forward to seeing the renovated building and having movies on our doorstep. The cinema will be a real asset to Crouch End if the Deli is anything to go by. So far we have bought ham, biscuits, pasta and baking powder. Each time we found exactly what we needed, service was knowledgeable and friendly.
