Slow Food Awards 2015
The Slow Food Awards 2015 have been announced.
- Best Butcher - Morleys (they won in 2014 too).
- Best Fishmonger (Runner Up) - Walter Purkiss.
- Best Bakery (Runner Up - Dunns.
Purkiss and Dunns both lost out to retailers in Borough Market so no shame there.
Well done to these local businesses and long may they flourish.

I've nominated Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre for the Time Out awards cultural category. I'll let you know when voting starts.
And I went to a meeting with Dunn's and Muddy Boots last night to discuss how the Crouch End Neighbourhood Forum can help local businesses. Spend your money here, is one obvious step. Especially with so many prize winners.
And keep telling the council that we want the Town Hall in Community ownership
