Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
There is a question on the newly issued Liveable Crouch End questionnaire which asks
"One way of doing this is to reduce the number of parking spaces (with the exception of Blue Badge bays) on main roads which would remove pinch points, improving bus journey times and make it safer for vehicles to pass. "
How supportive are you of this?"
I count myself neutral but offer the comment
"The pinch points in Crouch End arise when parking restrictions are relaxed in the evening (near the Queen's most noticeably) and when parking occurs despite restrictions (on Park Road near Banner's for example, when lorries park to deliver). So reducing the number is not necessarily the answer."
