Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
I've been bleating on about this for months, and berating Haringey for their lack of engagement with the community. Now Haringey (and its consultants) have decided to close some Crouch End roads as an experiment. While they have invited a select few ("Stakeholders") to attend a meeting this week the announcement of the trial seems to be quite low key. So far all I've seen is the new Liveable Crouch End web page.
Well done to our local councillors, then, for organising a meeting to go over the proposals, in public. For date and time see below, after the Trials Map.
Well done too , for highlighting the powerlessness of almost anyone to get Haringey to respond positively to requests for information.
Even if you can't get to the meeting, take a look at the web page and make your comments to one of our councillors or to Cllr Hearn (kirsten.hearn@haringey.gov.uk ) the cabinet member with responsibility for saving the planet.
