Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information

I had a brunch at the Ridge Cafe (97 Tottenham Lane)  last week. I had planned to  go there any way but the lady of the place seduced me in with an invitation to her garden. It was a lovely day and the charmingly ramshackle garden was a near perfect place for brunch. I wasn't quite ready for the full business so I just had pain au raisins and coffee which I thoroughly enjoyed. My companion had a chicken and avocado baguette served with an interesting salad with balsamic dressing. There was not a trace of it left on her plate - she wolfed it down along with a cup of tea. And all for just over a tenner.

A facebook user likes the garden too

Gotta say... third time I've been to the Ridge Cafe up Tottenham Lane and I love it. Nicely set just outside the hubbub of the Broadway with a very cool rustic garden area. https://goo.gl/J22gIA
