Recycled blue vegetarians from facebook - and the Blue Legume

Here's some veggie options recycled from Facebook, and our take on the Blue Legume (including some celebrity spotting)

My partner and I went to the Blue Legume yesterday evening for the first time. It was very good. A nice range of veggie options had me dithering indecisively for a while, but I opted for a falafel burger and my partner the veggie moussaka. The pudds were delicious. An unfussy, unobtrusive service and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere made for a very enjoyable treat. My mouth is watering just writing about it (TMI, I know!)

  • Vanessa Menendez-Covelo I often have their egg white omelette for brunch, and they make excellent coffee.
  • Jacqueline Osley At last someone has found a Crouch End place with good vegetarian options
  • Phil Down Its my local, amazing place, Love it!!
  • Graham Tulett Best cappuccino in Crouch End too!
  • Anj Dunne I've been there a few times.. really like it.. the Stapleton over the other end of Crouch Hill is good for veggie/vegan food too
  • Vanessa Menendez-Covelo I generally manage ok eating vegetarian in Crouch End. Could be because I'm not a great vegetarian and often forget about things like fish sauce and such. But I like the tofu pad thai in Pandan Leaf, the vegetarian sushi platter in Ohba Leaf, I make do with a feq veggie tapas in Bar Esteban, all day breakfast at Banners, and in Cafe Beam I get all picky and customize my meal (and they totally let me get away with it).
  • Nadine Mogford Their breakfast is good too!
  • Jimmy Peach If you're looking for decent veggie options I'd recommend the Hot Pepper Jelly cafe on Toppsfield Parade. I've been going for 5 years, the food is always good.
