Prospero's Books to become an Ice Cream Parlour

After much speculation, it seems that our friend Hugh over on Harringay Online got the scoop on what will replace the much loved Prospero's Books that sadly succumbed to the recession.  If only I'd thought to ask the workmen.

I do hope it's a 1950's style one with a juke box and waiting staff in cool uniforms.  My daughter is going to be Cock-a-hoop.  I'm not too unhappy either.

I saw this little plea in the window of the soon to be ice-cream parlour.  Who could have stolen the toy soldier and for what purpose?  A little detective work is what is needed.  The boast of as much ice-cream as you can eat is quite a challenge for me...
