sharing news and views from Crouch End and Hornsey
I am sure that many users of OpinioN8 with young children have made use of and benefited from this wonderful local resourse and will be sad to see it go. The staff at the centre are fantastic and have created a very welcoming play space that meets the needs of a wide range of families with diverse backgronds;a truly inclusive service provision. I am very sad to learn that it is one of many essential services facing the chop.
This was also the site of a substantial Capital Growth Grant last year to create 8 raised beds filled with edibles for families to grow food and enjoy. With the site facing closure this too will be another provision no longer accessible.
There is currently a consultation in progress, which is open Friday 17th June.

Permalink Reply by Adrian Essex on September 15, 2011 at 16:40 This areticle about the Jamboree Playhut says at the top it is closing by the end of September, and at the bottom a Haringey spokesman is quoted as saying they are looking for ways to keep it open.
Do we know what is true?
