The call centre is a joke. Through all of the auto options to be told ‘too busy to answer your call right now’ and then cut off. Unable to order visitor vouchers online for no obvious reason. CPZ permit renewal was eventually sorted.
I'm pretty sure there was a mass complaint when the latest lot of charges were put forward. Haringey , taking into account the perfectly reasonable and well argued case against their proposal, carried on and did it anyway. That's how consultation works around here. And back then was probably the best time for complaining. Preventing a change may be possible. Undoing a fait accompli is much more difficult. And anyway we think parking is being phased out - we are all expected to shift modes and walk and cycle everywhere. Our local councillors, the GLA and LBH are working together to come up with a way of persuading us to do this. When they've decided they will consult, take into account the perfectly reasonable and well argued case against their proposal, carried on and do it anyway. Probably.
