Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information

My daughter and I had a superb meal at the Nakama (Topsfield Parade) earlier this week. We got our ordering exactly right. I had Aki's special which we were warned would take a few minutes, and my daughter a curry, so to keep us going we ordered a plate of sashimi. Excellent - and beautifully presented. The special was a delight and the curry good. Washed down with green tea, the whole lot came to £40. Well worth it.

And to round things off the sushi chef played Happy Birthday on the piano for a family having a celebration dinner.

Brilliant.

This is not the best picture ever, but easily the best sashimi I have eaten in this country.
