Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
Muswell Hill Brass is a traditional British brass band based in London N10.
We are currently recruiting and would like to hear from any local musicians who could be tempted to come out of 'retirement' or to learn a brass instrument for the first time.
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 8pm at Muswell Hill Methodist Church in Pages Lane N10.
And we have a second weekly rehearsal more suitable for learners and developing players on Monday evenings at The Muswell Hill Centre in Hillfield Park (just off The Broadway, behind Marks & Spencer).
All of our sessions are led by a team of professional musicians. We provide top-quality coaching and we get you out playing on top-quality gigs, like the one pictured below at the Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon.
Surprisingly, there are no Membership Fees for being part of Muswell Hill Brass. We are supported by our Charitable Foundation (UK Charity No.1154826) and we are affiliated to the North London Brass Network, which gives our players access to a dozen staff and over 100 playing colleagues across the Greater London area.
We've taught scores of adults to play or to come back to their instruments - you will be in good company. We can even lend you an instrument if you need one.
