Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
Our Muswell Hill Brass Band, rehearsing in N10 and part of the North London Brass Network, is performing in front of Ally Pally between 1.30pm and 3.40pm tomorrow, Sunday 21 July 2013, for Alexandra Park's big 150th Anniversary Event.
We're looking for some kind volunteers to hand out zillions of recruitment flyers for us whilst we play and so, if you like brass bands and if you can spare an hour or so to supporting your 'Town Band', please call in at our Bandstand (Festival Zone on the South Slope) and we'll give you a bundle to dish out to the multitudes.
We will be eternally grateful... and we'll even let you join the band if you fancy it :-)
More details on our website about this, about our 'Nine-week Challenge' for adult beginners and about our Band Tour to Catalonia in 2014.
Please do get in touch if you are interested in joining or supporting our band in any way, especially if you can be tempted to take up our challenge to learn a new musical skill from scratch. There are more details on our website: www.northlondonbrass.co.uk
And details of the Alexandra Palace event are here: http://www.alexandrapalace.com/whats-on/alexandra-park-150th-birthd...

Thank you to all that came to hear the bands and join in the fun at Ally Pally this afternoon for the 150th Celebrations. Here's a smashing picture of Patrick Dodds conducting our own NLB Muswell Hill Brass Band in front of the Palace.
