I spent a pleasant hour or so in yesterday's warm sunny weather exploring the Meadow Orchard project, something I've been meaning to do since it was started 6 or 7 years ago!   tucked behind the NHS carpark in Park Road, the wildlife community garden has had a lot of work lovingly bestowed on it but needs much more;  new volunteers are very welcome in this casual, friendly atmosphere!   orchard and forest, mostly oak, tree care   scything of brambles and work on the impressive round eco-building made of cob, straw bale, rammed earth. timber and lime rendering continues and the medicinal herb garden needs tlc
