Earlier this year I emailed local residents regardinglibrary improvement works in the borough. I am following up with you to confirm that the plans for these improvements will be available for residents to view and comment on between Tuesday 4th June and Saturday 29th June at the following libraries: Alexandra Park, Coombes Croft, Highgate, Muswell Hill, St Ann’s and Stroud Green & Harringay.
The works are part of a £550,000 programme to improve and enhance our borough’s libraries and the plans have been developed from detailed condition surveys which have been carried out in each of the library buildings. The Council have also spent several months engaging with library staff and Friends of Libraries groups.
There will betwo drop-in sessions at each library, giving residents an opportunity to speak to the relevant project team.
The dates for the drop in sessions are :
Alexandra Park Library- Saturday 8th June 12:30 to 14:30 and Monday 10th June 15:00 to 17:00
Combes Croft Library- Saturday 8th June 15:00 to 17:00 and Monday 10th June 12:30 to 14:30
Highgate Library- Saturday 22nd of June 15:00 to 17:00 and Wednesday 26th June 10:00 to 12:00
Muswell Hill Library- Saturday 8th of June 10:00 to 12:00 snd Tuesday 18th of June 12:00 2:00
St Ann's Library- Monday 10th of June 10:00-12:00 and Saturday 22nd of June 10:00- 12:00
Stroud Green & Harringay Library- Saturday 22nd June 12:30 to 14:30 and Friday 28th June 14:00 to 16:00
There will be feedback boxes at each library to leave comments or questions.
