HTH now stands for Haringey Tax Haven

You must have seen by now the news that Hornsey Town Hall is up for a Cabinet decision on October 18th to sell a long lease to the Far East Consortium International Limited / Dorsett Hospitality and Coplan Estates.

Far East Consortium International Limited is a Hong Kong estate company registered in the Cayman Islands tax haven. We must try to find out how much UK tax they will pay.

Dorsett Hospitality is a Hong Kong company registered in the Cayman Islands tax haven . We must try to find out how much UK tax they will pay.

Coplan Estates is a complex of companies with eight different registrations at Companies House. I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason for each one, and that these multiple vehicles have not been set up to obfuscate or to  reduce tax bills. Look forward to Coplan Estates (Haringey) Ltd. They list GVA (the estate agents who recommended , in the face of all evidence that HTH should be sold) among their partners. Fortunately , the whole disposal process has been carried out under the OJEU rules, so it must surely all be above board, though it is so secret that we know nothing of it.

This gentleman, David Chiu, is chairman of both Dorsett and Fecil
