Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information
St. James and Sainsbury's are planning to develop the Hornsey Depot site on Hornsey High Street, and are starting a public consultation on the scheme from next Monday 10 June. The proposed scheme includes a supermarket, housing, work space and car parking.
Soundings have been appointed to run the consultation and thought it would be of interest to the users of Opinion8. We hope many of you will be able to attend the public events.
The drop-in exhibition is being held at St. Mary's CE School on Rectory Gardens, N8 7QN, and is an opportunity to see the proposed plans and leave your feedback.
Monday 10 June 2.30pm-7.00pm
Tuesday 11 June 6.30pm-8.30pm
Saturday 15 June 10.00am-2.00pm
If you are interested in discussing the plans in more depth with St. James, Sainsbury's and the design team, please join us for one of the public workshops. If you would like to come, please RSVP to Soundings on 020 7729 1705 or firstname.lastname@example.org

I have a real problem with this, traffic, the effect on local businesses and the loss of the recycling centre. We have a Tesco Metro in the high street I don't think we need another one. It is not as if Crouch End isn't that far away and also Wood Green which both have supermarkets.
