This really is one if the great places to meet in Crouch End. None if the ersatz bon hommie that some of the high street outlets serve up with your tall skinny. No music, solitude if you want it and a cracking art gallery next door. I've often wondered if there is any connection between Robin's charming garb snd the Tardis he uses to get to work every day.

This rather prompts a discussion about who you'd like to see step of of the Tardis to have coffee with you.
Perhaps a chat about music with JS Bach. He wrote a Coffee Cantata and is supposed to have that said "Without my morning coffee I'm just like a dried up piece of roast goat."
A view on contemporary politics would be welcome from Abe Lincoln but Robin would have to be on his toes as the great man once said "If this is coffee, please bring me some tea; if this is tea, please bring me some coffee."
