I fear that repair is a dying art, replacement becoming the preferred option.
I can't recommend a repairer. As far as I know there is nowhere in Crouch End. G and S on Middle Lane does not do it.
Zed in Real did replace a thermostat for me, but repair is not his main business, he did it as a favour for me because I am quite a good customer.
There is a website called Checkatrade - this search lists gas cooker repairers near N8.

I tried Real , Adrian, because I bought the gas cooker from them 3 years ago I'll try Checkatrade thanks S
