Connecting Crouch End and Hornsey with news, views and information

The Crouch End Neighbourhood Forum is a new organisation that is being set up to give local people a say in how our area is shaped and developed in the coming years.

The Forum will produce a neighbourhood plan based on the priorities of local people for the development and use of land, where open space should be and where homes, offices and shops should be built and what they should look like.

We will be starting a programme of engaging with neighbours form mid-April  to determine the boundaries of the Forum and to find out what people feel our priorities should be. To do this we are planning a series of leaflets, brochures, posters and other literature.

But, we need a logo and we need it quickly!

So, we are inviting anyone living in or around the Crouch End area to have a go at designing.

Like all logos it should be ..

  • Distinctive and visible and stand out in all situations
  • Relevant to Crouch End
  • Capable of being used for different applications – letterheads, posters, leaflets etc.
  • Usable in colour or black and white
  • Simple and memorable
  • Able to stand the test of time

There is no prize for the winning entrant other than the satisfaction of being able to say “I designed that!”

The competition will be judged by members of the CENF Steering Group and the winner will be announced as soon as possible after the closing date for entries which is 7th April 2015.

No pressure then!

Please send your entries to..... crouchendforum@gmail.com . There is more background information about the forum on https://crouchendforum.wordpress.com .

Competition closes noon on Wednesday 8th April.

The legal bit. If you win, the ownership and copyright of your design will pass to the Forum who will use it on literature and other marketing and publicity material..  There will be no payment or consideration for the use of the design other than the undying gratitude of a grateful community. The Crouch End Neighbourhood Forum reserves the right to alter and change the design of the winning entry and eventually change to another design.
