We (I put one of my many multi talented tweenies onto the job) have baked a batch of these. Owing to a crisis of supply in full size creme eggs in the Crouch End shops we went to, we had two mini creme eggs in each cake, rather than one full size. These exploded in a most satisfactory fashion into the inside of the wrapper. A very pleasing afters to a huge plate of fish and chips.

Is the creme eggs benedict served on a mushroom? It looks utterly disgusting! Like the devilled creme eggs idea though.
