Subject: CELEBRATING THE BEST OF LOCAL DESIGN / HARINGEY DESIGN AWARDS 2012

Dear Councillors,

 

As Design Champion for the council, I am pleased to announce the Haringey Design Awards 2012. The awards recognise excellent design in developments across Haringey – with categories covering homes, green building, heritage and regeneration. An overall winner will also be selected.

 

The awards will celebrate the most innovative, interesting and attractive developments in the borough and give us the opportunity to highlight the contribution that good design makes to making Haringey a better place to live and work. All development completed since spring 2008 is eligible with nominations closing on May 20. The winners will be announced on June 28.    

 

Nominations for awards are welcomed from residents, councillors, architects, developers, area committees, housing associations, council departments and interested stakeholders.
