Boundary changes again - the Labour Party thinks Crouch End should move to Islington North

After the initial boundary change proposals were published a few months ago, and the deadline for comments passed, this story has popped up in the Guardian. People may have spotted it already.

Apparently the Labour Party think Crouch End ward needs to leave Hornsey & Wood Green parliamentary constituency and move to Islington North, and have made a representation to the boundary commission to that effect.

A Labour party spokesperson said: “As part of the Boundary Commission’s consultation process, the Labour party have put forward counter-proposals that better respect local community links and ties. These proposals have been agreed by the NEC after a wide-ranging consultation with local parties.”

Anybody heard anything of this 'wide ranging discussion'? Any Labour members out there know anything? Catherine West available for comment?
