A reminder to everyone about two events and two new exhibitions on at Bruce Castle Museum this coming week:

 

  • Monday 30 January at 12.15pm is our lunch-time talk, part of our Munch and Listen programme.

Brewing In the Borough: The Road To Redemption

Robert Waite, Deputy Curator, takes a look at the tradition of brewing beer in Haringey up to the present day. A sample or two maybe provided for discerning palates.

(Doors open at 12 noon).

 

  • Sat 4 & Sun 5 February, 1 – 5pm British-Chinese Food Culture Weekend brought to you by Ming-Ai Institute of Bounds Green to celebrate the end of their HLF-funded project (please see attached flyer from Ming-Ai for further details of the programme and the project)

Objects In Focus: Merman

A touring exhibition showing the mysterious merman creature – from the Horniman Museum
