Sad to see another small business go under. Companies House shows it went into liquidation in October.

Researching a little further, I found this article about their second branch in Turnham Green which opened in 2017. Perhaps expansion costs and the economic climate did for them. Huddle under a carefully curated handwoven blanket while contemplating a sustainable artisanal vase and the Brexit megashambles? No, me neither. The current mood is agin such fripperies.

"Cassius & Coco provide a carefully curated selection of design-led products. With a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability, our considered collection aspires to endorse a conscious lifestyle."

Still, the Cavendish Legal Group are local.

Why have the names of the landlords (Sakminder and Rajinder Jouhal) been badly blacked out? As I understand the entire lease should be available for public inspection at the land registry. Certainly the ownership of the building is.

I haven't found the shop on either Rightmove or Zoopla. Though there are lots of others in the area. Perhaps I will walk round and look for an agent's board.

And while the hand woven blanket might not provide much comfort, apparently in times of crisis we escape to the cinema
