Crouch End, Stroud Green and Hornsey Area Forum and CommitteeNeighbourhoods The government has dramatically reduced funding to local authorities, and the Council has therefore had to make some hard choices in relation to how it spends its money. The Neighbourhood Management service has now been withdrawn, and Area Assembly meetings have been replaced by local Area Committees and Forums. These have specific responsibilities and consultative powers and the Council sees them as a vital part of local democratic engagement.
