Synopsis: This climate blockbuster (UK box office No 1) stars Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, watching “archive” footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change while we had the chance?
Director:Franny Armstrong
Launched via satellite to 700 sites in 55+ countries on the 21st and 22nd September 2009, this climate blockbuster brought over one million people together to think about climate change, setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest live film ever event. Bigger even than Star Wars.
Produced over four years by 'McLibel' director Franny Armstrong, the film led to the 10:10 campaign to cut 10% of emissions in 2010.
