Event Description

Summer Craft and Gift Event.

Venue: Union Church Community Centre, Weston Park Crouch End N8 9PX.

 

A short walk from the clock tower along Weston Park to the junction of Ferme Park Road and Weston Park.

Or catch a bus, W5 or W3, (to the junction of Ferme Park Road and Weston Park Road).

Free admission.

Accessible building, we are in the lower ground floor community centre.

 

Browse, buy, chat with the small businesses. 

Watch and ask questions of the demonstrators demonstrating embroidery, knitting and crochet techniques.

Lots of present ideas, father’s day gifts or buy a treat for yourself.

Napkins, ties, balms, soaps, handmade jewellery, greetings cards, quirky coffee pots, homeware, designer children’s sandals (aged 1 to 8yrs), children’s books, cushions, make up pouches, men’s watches, fashion jewellery,  sustainable knitting yarns, knitting needles, purses, umbrellas, intricate handmade embroidery pieces, upcycled gift boxes etc ….  Plus our guest stall is the Haringey Partnership – Cathy will be on hand to answer questions and help you get to a range of specialist free advice services available in Haringey.

Fab Father’s Day gifts. Father and child will have ongoing enjoyment of observing and recording the occupation of their new bug house. Identifying who moves in and watching the valuable contributions insects make to nature. Handmade, green roof (succulents), bug houses and birdhouses. Succulent plants and butterfly roosting boxes.

Drop into the Summer Craft and Gift Event tomorrow Saturday 15th June 2019. 12.30pm - 4.30pm.

Brightly coloured handmade cushions and covers, make up pouches (flat or padded).  Every stall is different drop by to check out all that is available.

Children's sparkly handmade leather uppers rubber sole sandals.  Ages 1yr to 8yrs. Gold and silver plus other colours. Classic styles. Limited quantity arrive early for best choice.  Every stall is different.

Bookwagon - a children's book specialist will be at our Summer Craft and Gift Event on 15th June. Set up by a successful leading educator and children's literature specialist.  Bookwagon is available to share children's books, they will be delighted to talk about reading for pleasure and happy to take questions and answers.  Drop by to find out what they have.

We welcome Tunde with up cycled gift boxes, notebooks and other small handmade gift items.  Plus a small handmade range of decoupage style greetings cards.

Maria will be bringing her handmade jewellery. She uses semi precious stones, Swarovski crystal and fresh water pearls. All her jewellery designs use sterling silver attachments or chains.

Sandra will be bringing her handmade napkins and table runners.  Made from brightly coloured African print material.  Plus napkin rings.
