Proposals for Hornsey High Street's depot site will be on display again in September. Many of you attended and commented on the proposals earlier this year and I hope that your views are represented in the updated proposals that will be shown next month.
The venue will, once again, be at St Mary's CE Primary School, Rectory Gardens, N8 7QN
. There will be three sessions, days and time detailed below:
Thursday 12th September: 2-8pm
Saturday 14th September: 10am-2pm
Tuesday 17th September: 5-8pm
The original sessions were shorter than these and Councillor Monica Whyte has worked hard to get the consultation team to agree to extend the hours so people can attend after work, for example. What happens next
After these events the developer will put in a planning application. We will be monitoring the application and will keep you up to date with developments or actions we should take to ensure that we get the best possible development for the local area.
It's really important that you get in touch with your views
so that our next steps are guided by your views on what will and will not work for local residents and business.
Although this application will have a significant impact in Hornsey, there could also be effects on Crouch End. The last time I emailed, people came back with concerns about where the recycling centre will go, the size of the supermarket and its impact on Crouch End shops and, of course, traffic!
I look forward to hearing your views on the proposals.
